wow...2009! my first FDF was 95..San Fran. It feels like yesterday though! Cathi Halfhill was our director...and it was my first time ever really Greek dancing (other than the usual festival stuff). I think we did a Thracian Suite and a Pontian suite. Little did I know that would be the beginning of a Pontian obsession! KERAVNOS! Thank God for FDF and for all of the people who have kept it going all these years. It has made my life what it is! Can't wait for February!

Hello FDF!
I think it would be great if you put up a webcam and showed FDF live on Skype for those parents that can not go and really want to see there kids dance. It is easy to do and a live stream.

Hi Anonymous,
I know there has been discussion about a web cam and other progressive ideas for the future but I'm not sure that it will happen this year. Good idea though...

As for an FDF phone number, there are so many people helping on the event it's much more efficient to have an email address as a main point of contact. You can find it on the site under contact: sffolkdance@sanfran.goarch.org If you still need someone to call you, just put it in your email and they'll get back to you - the team is really good about responding.

Is there a list of all the cities that are coming and participating?

How do we get our tickets ( arm band packages)??? There is nothing I can find on the website. I live in the area and will not be staying in one of the Hotels. I just need entrance to the events.

FDF'ers - we have not launched our on line registration yet...once we do, you will be able to purchase any package you want. Look out for on line registration in the next couple weeks.
See you in San Jose in January!
